Come on!
The new house has a winding staircase, which is open... you know, like just open slats. So I'm a bit nervous to go up and down. Actually, I'm totally scared, so mom and dad have to carry me up and down. I hold on so tight too! Here is where I sit and wait for my ride down.

I, too, have a little girl pug named Olive, who will not walk down the stairs! At first she would not walk upstairs as well, but she has mastered that skill. I wonder if it is because they are sort of "front" heavy? She is otherwise very agile and active. My Olive is three years old and black, and we live in NJ.
When Arliss sits like that we call that the "wino" pose. :)
